In Direct Selling, you have 3 options once you encounter a customer
SELECT, REJECT, COLLABORATE
While all of us would love to select every prospect that we encounter, it is unreasonable to think that such a thing can happen.
It is important for us to understand that
a) Either the salesperson rejects a prospect
b) Or , the Prospect rejects a salesperson
I would advise that a smart salesperson does not wait for a rejection from a prospect. If one has their own internal benchmarks to s!elect or reject a prospect so that minimum time is wasted by the salesperson in trying to convert a rejection into a selection!
