A customer may be uneducated, uncouth or uninformed about your product or service. In the last 30 years of my sales career , I have never come across a single customer who was foolish.(A foolish person always seeks the advise of another person who is considered as less foolish than the former.)
If they are not foolish, what are they?
- Well Informed
- Under informed
- Too much information
Customers are never foolish but if you encounter someone in the Category 3 above, You can try to fool him and have fun.
Rule no 1: Never fool a customer into a purchase
Rule no 2: Never deny the customer a right to be foolish.
